Recapping the Annapolis Powerboat Show
With an approaching storm and a city center under construction, we went into the 2026 Annapolis Powerboat Show (October 8-11) with a bit of nervous trepidation. Fortunately, we needn’t have worried, as the Annapolis crowds this year were not only large, but passionate and well-informed about Selene and trawlers in general.

We even had several Nordhavn and Fleming owners stop by to check out Selene, as they had been hearing good things. And 2025 Selene 60 Classic Explorer ‘Kaimana’ definitely impressed everyone who had the opportunity to tour her.
With stunning woodwork, ample space, and a well-appointed engine room, a Kadey-Krogen owner marvelled at how much value you get with a Selene compared to some of the other trawler brands. And we agree!

We also had a great turnout for our Happy Hour event on Friday, which brought together current Selene owners, prospective owners, and a lot of new Selene fans.
On Sunday, the rains eventually did come, washing away the final day of the show. However, by that time, we had already welcomed over 500 boaters aboard Kaimana.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to visit us on the docks in Annapolis. We loved sharing Kaimana and ‘talking trawler’ with you. And what a great maritime city!
Our next event on the East Coast will be Trawlerfest Ft. Lauderdale in February (23-27). We hope to see you there. To stay up-to-date on all Selene events and activities, be sure to follow us on Facebook or Instagram!
